Can I withdraw money from a Junior ISA?
You generally can’t take money out of a Junior ISA until the child turns 18.
Once money is paid in, it belongs to the child. This includes money you add yourself and gifts from friends or family.
So you can’t take money back out if you change your mind or need it for something else.
Can I close the Junior ISA?
You can’t close the Junior ISA and take the money out before your child turns 18. At 18, the account becomes theirs to manage and they’ll be able to access their money.
If you don’t want to keep the Junior ISA with Monzo, you can transfer it to another Junior ISA provider instead.
