Why there's a fee for cash deposits
We don’t have branches, so we've partnered with PayPoint and the Post Office to offer cash deposits.
They charge us for every deposit our customers make, so we pass on some of these costs to you. This means we can offer cash deposits in a sustainable way.
Most other banks don’t charge for depositing cash, but there are still costs that they absorb in the process and then make up elsewhere. We thought about doing this, but we want to keep cash deposits sustainable.
