Card not accepted for cash deposit

You can pay cash into your Monzo accounts at any PayPoint or Post Office.

Make sure you swipe your card, rather than using chip and PIN, contactless or typing in the number.

Some PayPoint terminals don’t have a swipe reader built in, so the shopkeeper will need to swipe your card on the till that the terminal's attached to. This is the case at some Co-op, One Stop and McColl’s stores. If the transaction is declined, you'll get a notification in the app and a declined receipt from the store

Make sure you insert your card into the card reader at the front of the counter (you won’t need to enter in your PIN), rather than swiping, using contactless or typing in the number.
