You can absolutely use a range of cryptocurrency exchanges with Monzo, including major exchanges like Coinbase. And we know using cryptocurrency exchanges is important to some people as part of their personal banking.
Following the FCA’s warning on Binance earlier this year, it’s worth noting we've stopped payments to this specific platform for now. This is the only exchange we’ve stopped all payments to.
Like all regulated banks, from time to time we may also block a small number of transactions based on risk. This applies to all transactions, not just ones involving cryptocurrencies.
