What is paid early?

Our Paid Early feature will give you the option to be paid at 4pm the day before any Bacs payment is due to arrive in your account. This works for any Bacs payment up to £20,000.

If you have been sent a Bacs payment, this will show as an upcoming payment at the top of your feed in the Monzo app the day before it's paid or sometimes earlier. If you tap that feed item after 4pm the day before the payment is due, you will have the option to receive the money right there and then!

This works by crediting your account on day 2 of the Bacs cycle instead of day 3 as normal. If you’re interested you can read more about this all works in our blog here.
