Cancelling a Direct Debit
You can cancel Direct Debits in your Monzo app. Here’s how:
Tap the Payments icon in the menu bar
Tap Schedule
Tap the payment you want to cancel
Tap Cancel Direct Debit
You’ll need to cancel a Direct Debit at least one full day before it’s due to leave your account, otherwise it might still go through.
Don’t forget to let the company know that you’ve cancelled. If the company has tried to take this payment before and failed, there’s a chance they could still take it as a recollection payment if they think you owe them money.
