How to Split Bills with Monzo (Single Split)
A Single Split is a way to split a one off payment with a friend, like a taxi ride or a lunch.
How do I Split a single payment?
Tap on the relevant payment from your list of transactions and then you should see Split this bill in the available actions
Pick who to split the bill with from Nearby Friends or Monzo contacts. If your friends aren't on Monzo tap Next then Add someone not on Monzo.
Choose to split the payment equally or edit the amounts.
Tap Request money. Your friends on Monzo will get a notification to accept the request. If they aren't on Monzo, you can tap Share a request link and choose how you want to send it.
How do I cancel a Single Split?
You can only withdraw a request if the person you're splitting the bill with is a Monzo customer too.
To cancel a Single Split, simply tap on the Edit option while on the overview screen of the Split, and then select Cancel Single Split.
You cannot cancel a Single Split request with non-Monzo customers.
