Can I change the policy start date for Home Insurance?

Unfortunately you can't change your policy start date. If you need your insurance to start on a different date you can cancel the policy and take out a new policy with the correct start date. We won't charge a cancellation fee if you cancel the policy.

If you haven’t made a claim, we’ll refund you for the days you’ve paid for but haven’t used. If you have made a claim, you won’t receive a refund of any payment you’ve already made.
