Will my Home Insurance policy automatically renew?

Unless you opt out, Monzo Home Insurance policies are set to automatically renew at the end of the policy year.

You can update your renewal settings in the app at any time by following these instructions.

  • Go to the insurance section in your app and tap on your active policy

  • Tap on the cog on the right hand side of the screen

  • You’ll see your renewal settings and you can decide whether to turn this off/on.

If your renewal payment fails, we'll try to take it again each day for the next 21 days. If we can't collect payment after 21 days, we'll cancel your policy.

For failed renewal payments this means your home and belongings won’t be protected, but it won’t impact any existing claims made.
