Can I receive international transfers to my business account?

Yes – use your account’s international bank account number (IBAN) to get payments from other countries or in other currencies.

We won’t charge you anything for international payments that have already been converted to British pounds.

If a payment arrives in your account in a different currency, we'll use a third party to convert foreign currency, and they set the exchange rate. You'll see the rate used in the transaction details after receiving the payment.

We'll also charge you a 1% fee for the conversion. We won’t charge you more than £1,000 per transaction on payments we convert. So if, for example, you get a payment worth £100 in a different currency, we’ll take a £1 fee to convert it.

Because of that we recommend you ask the person sending the money to do that in their local currency or British pounds.

How to find your IBAN

  1. Choose the account you need the IBAN for

  2. Tap on the three dots at the bottom right of the card

  3. Tap Add money

  4. Tap on International bank transfer. You’ll find your IBAN underneath your name and BIC (bank identifier code). You can copy it from the app, or tap ‘Share account details’ at the bottom of the page.
